FROM FREIGHTlist to level one

Level One Technologies began authoring web based business to business software in 1999. Founded as Freightlist.com, Inc., the company designed a transportation management system that also matched lists of available loads and trucks in real time.

These efforts attracted the attention of entrepreneurs from other industries, each looking to capitalize on the revenue potential of an internet business. During this period, the Freightlist team assisted in the planning of several projects, including a medical records repository and a billing system for professional services firms.

In December of 2000, we investigated the addition of an electronic payment module for Freightlist.com. Our research indicated that few companies were offering such services, and virtually none for the transportation industry. In early 2001, we phased out development of Freightlist.com to focus our efforts on the development of a new application known as Epay Manager.

Under the new corporate name, Level One Technologies, Inc., we executed numerous design phases for Epay Manager. Beta tests led to valuable enhancements, and the first official version of the system was deemed market worthy in 2005.

There have been frequent updates since then, including the addition of several software pieces. Eager to stay ahead of the technology curve, we developed a document imaging module, a load distribution list with live bidding, and numerous custom enhancements for our valued customers. Each piece is tightly integrated with the Epay Manager solution, but can also function as a stand alone application.

Improvements continue to occur on a daily basis, as we strive to use the latest technology to further enhance the value of our system. More importantly, the technologies we've used and developed for Epay Manager are adaptable for general business purposes.
